Faroudja Toner Carries Oki Data C5100 Drum Fuse for Recycling
SAN CARLOS, Calif. — Faroudja Toner now carries a fuse
for the Oki Data C5100 drum, making it possible to recycle the drum unit.
“Everybody dislikes the Oki Data 5100 drum units, as they
can retail for around $200, which is really outrageous,” said President Phil
Faroudja. “But with our drum for the 5100 and now the fuse, you can recycle it
for less than $25.”
Every new unit has a fuse embedded in it on the side, which
blows when the drum’s life ends. Faroudja Toner supplies complete instructions
on how to replace both the fuse and drum. Faroudja also offers drums and fuses
for the Oki Data C7000 series cartridges.
