R-Jet Tek InkJet Center Refill System Makes Debut at World Expo 2006
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — R-Jet Tek has designed an
all-in-one, simple-to-use refilling system. The InkJet Center Refill System,
unveiled at World Expo in August, is a versatile addition to any retail or
franchise location.
The InkJet Center will help bring attention to businesses
and generate new revenue by taking advantage of the exploding ink market. The
expanded market is being driven by increased digital printing from all types of
consumers, according to R-Jet Tek’s Communications Director Vic Johnson.
The InkJet Center fills up to 85 different types of inkjet
cartridges, fits conveniently into a three-foot space and rests on a counter
top or stand. Because of the
onboard human interface touch screen monitor only minimal training of new employees
is re-quired to operate it effectively.
The unique drill-down menu allows for more in-depth
instruction as is necessary for new employees or brief “next step” processing
for more experienced employees.
Johnson said the small footprint, (dimensions are 36 inches
wide by 22 inches deep by 38 inches high), makes it easy to integrate into
existing retail space, and was well received by Expo attendees. The unit can
pay for itself in as little as one year. Timeframes may vary based on location
and production.
The InkJet Center uses vacuum-fill technology and includes
an atomizer for cleaning print heads, a centrifuge for spinning residual ink
from cartridges, a built-in circuit and print tester, a hand- held vacuum wand,
an onboard super- quiet air compressor, and high-quality, low-noise electric
pumps for quick, accurate refilling.
