Summit Releases Overdrive Chips for Lexmark, Dell, IBM
BOHEMIA, N.Y. — Summit Technologies LLC announced the
release of its newly designed Lexmark replacement chip line to address recent
changes in printer function, often referred to as “stealthware.”
This includes the Lexmark 240/340, Dell 1700/1710 and IBM
1512 Universal chip, Lexmark T420/Dell S2500/IBM 1222 Universal chip, as well
as the Lexmark T640/T644 and IBM 1532/1552/1572 chips.
The new series fully addresses the overdrive communication
requirements of these stealthware-specific machines and is designed to be
compliant with future stealthware software changes that may be introduced.
This series functions in all known current firmware levels,
and is fully ROHS compliant.
