10th Annual Toner and Imaging Chemicals Conference Set for Florida

CARRABASSETT VALLEY, Maine — Information Management Institute Inc. and Toner Research Services is holding its 10th Annual Toner and Imaging Chemicals Conference Feb. 7-9, at the Radisson Resort Orlando-Celebration in Kissimmee, Fla.

The program and format is designed to provide attendees with the most up-to-date trends in toner-based printing, toner technology and the toner raw material components that are shaping the future of the toner industry.

Among the key topics to be covered include the potential impact of REACH on toner and raw material suppliers; how foreign competition may affect toner and raw material suppliers; what are the options for chemical toners; styrene acrylic vs. polyester resins — the future of each; environmentally friendly polymers; how to achieve optimum pigment dispersion; internal vs. external charge agents; and the latest trends in toner production and test equipment.

“IMI’s 10th Annual Toner and Imaging Chemicals Conference provides those involved in the toner and imaging chemicals industry a unique opportunity to meet, network and foster the continued success of toner-based printing technologies, applications and markets,” said conference chairman John Cooper of Toner Research Services.

In conjunction with the conference, IMI is sponsoring the EP Technology — The Bright Future Seminar and Chemically Prepared Toner Seminar; both on Feb. 5-6, 2007 at the same location.

“Conference presenters will provide the latest information on many developments, applications and market opportunities,” said IMI President Al Keene.
