Future Graphics Opens China Office; Yu Named to Head Asian Operations

LOS ANGELES — Future Graphics announced the opening of a new sales office in Zhuhai, China.

The new sales office will better serve customers throughout Asia, including China, Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand and India.

In the first quarter of 2007, FG will also open a warehouse in Hong Kong to support these markets with high quality FG and MK Imaging materials.

Future Graphics has appointed Dick Yu as director of Asian operations. An experienced veteran of the imaging industry, Yu previously spent nine years with Hewlett-Packard China as the country manager. He also served two years with Motorola Asia Pacific as general manager for the Information System Group and eight years with Xerox China as vice president and general manager based out of Shanghai.

“Future Graphics is committed to supporting the Asian market with the highest technical and service levels in the industry,” said Luke Goldberg, senior vice president of Future Graphics. “The tremendous growth of Future Graphics and our new relationships, particularly our vendor/partner relationship with MKIC, requires a greater presence in Asia in order to streamline operations and to better serve the market. We are also fortunate to have Dick Yu spearheading this endeavor. Yu brings invaluable relationships and insights as a by-product of his wealth of OEM experience.”
