Media Sciences Expands Toner, Solid Ink Lines With Clearcase

OAKLAND, N.J. — Media Sciences International announced the launch of 100 percent newly designed and manufactured Clearcase color toner cartridges for use in Dell 5100cn and Xerox 6300/6350 color business printers and 100 percent newly designed and manufactured solid inks for use in Xerox Phaser 8560/8560 MFP color business printers. All Media Sciences products offer end users savings of up to and more than 30 percent when compared to the printer manufacturer’s brand.
These new color toner and solid ink product launches, part of a series of new product introductions planned for fiscal year 2007, include plans for shipment of the full lines within the next few weeks. The full line of Media Sciences 100 percent new-build Clearcase color toner cartridges for use in Dell 3000cn, 3100cn and 3010cn and Epson AcuLaser CX11N, CX11NF, and C1100 color business printers, first announced in November, is available now.
“These new product introductions, on the heels of our November launch of products for use in Dell and Epson printers, demonstrate the acceleration in product development that has been a keen focus at Media Sciences over the past year,” said Media Sciences President and CEO Michael W. Levin. “Our new toner products for use in additional Dell and Xerox models create strong opportunities for our distribution channels and deliver exceptional savings to end users.”
Media Sciences manufactures products for every solid ink business color printer available on the market today. The company also manufactures color toner cartridges for a broad array of leading business color printers made by Dell, Xerox, Tektronix, OKI, Ricoh, Konica-Minolta/Minolta-QMS, Epson and Brother.
“The Xerox Phaser 8560 solid ink machines were introduced in the U.S. just last month, roughly 60 days prior to the expected ship date of Media Sciences supplies for use in these machines,” Levin said. “The introduction of Media Sciences products at such an early stage in a printer’s life cycle is a landmark event for our company and an important result from our investment in R&D resources over the past year.”
