First INK & TONER USA ‘Un-Franchisee’ Opens Location
NORTH PALM BEACH, Fla. — The first Ink & Toner USA “un-franchisee” recently opened a store in North Palm Beach.
“The first month’s sales were more than 50 percent greater than anticipated,” said Paul Saperstone, owner of the new location.
In August 2006, Saperstone became the first licensee of Ink & Toner USA, owned by Jane and Bob Bloom. The Blooms offered Saperstone the opportunity to train with them and learn how to run a successful ink and toner business, all for a reasonable price (the “un-franchise” model).
Since that time, Ink & Toner USA has signed up four additional licensees throughout the United States with many others showing interest.
Ink & Toner USA was established in 2004 as the first ink and toner retail store in Palm Beach County. Today, the company, headquartered in West Palm Beach is the largest retailer of its kind in Palm Beach County and now provides supplies to customers locally and throughout Florida and the United States.
