Kyocera Mita Corporation Promotes Michael Pietrunti to CEO

PiertruntiFAIRFIELD, N.J. — Kyocera Mita America Inc., a document solutions company, announced that the board of directors has appointed Michael Pietrunti as CEO of Kyocera Mita America, effective immediately.

Pietrunti, who has served as president of Kyocera Mita America’s U.S-based company, will now direct business strategies and operations for Kyocera Mita companies in Canada, Mexico and Brazil. In Japan, Kyocera Mita Corporation also appointed Pietrunti to the position of executive officer, a significant promotion for the head of the New Jersey-based subsidiary.

Since joining the company in 2003 Pietrunti has set forth aggressive business goals, outlining plans for Kyocera Mita America to be a $1 billion company.

Pietrunti has more than 26 years of industry experience, and has held several key management positions at Kyocera Mita America as well as with other industry leaders.
