Oasis Releases Chem-eleon Toners
NASHUA, N.H. — Oasis Imaging Products has added 10 new color toners to its family of Chem-eleon brand of toner.
With the release of HP’s family of HP color LaserJet 3000, 3600 and 3800 printers, Oasis is able to provide fast color images at speeds from 15 to 22 pages per minute. Now Oasis provides an aftermarket color toner that can keep up with the speed of HP.
The 3800 black can be used in all three printers, where as the gram load for the HP 3000 is 125 grams for each of the other three colors. In the HP 3600 color LaserJet the correct gram load for the three colors is 145 grams.
The yield on color laser printers is determined differently than with monochrome printers, but the Chem-eleon brand of color toners compares favorably when matched up against the OEM. The grams needed to provide a thousand pages is slightly higher for the Chem-eleon black toner. This is compensated with a small increase in the grams per load.
