Future Graphics Vice President Presents Global Trends Analysis at Asia Imaging Forum

LOS ANGELES — Future Graphics Senior Vice President Luke Goldberg presented “Global Trends and Opportunities” and participated in a “State of the Industry” panel at the second annual Asian Imaging Forum (AIF) in Singapore on June 16.

Hosted by RechargeAsia magazine and attended by many noted companies from all over the globe, AIF 2007 coincided with the RechargExpo 2007 trade show for the imaging industry.

“I was impressed by the forum and the RechargExpo conference,” Goldberg said. “They were well-organized events, and covered many important marketplace topics, including commercial, technical, and IP issues. It also gave us the opportunity to meet with customers in the Asia Pacific region and the Indian subcontinent. We were able to not just pass along our own knowledge, but to gain insight into the state of the emerging markets in these countries.”

“It was an honor to have Mr. Goldberg speak at our event,” said director Sunny Sun. “He is one of the most respected leaders in the imaging aftermarket, and his industry trends seminar was very appreciated and well-received.”

According to Goldberg, many of these markets are beginning to make the transition from refilling to remanufacturing, and they recognize the critical importance of quality in the era of color.
“These markets are still very much in their initial stages of growth,” Goldberg said. “They need the guidance and education from experienced market players who have already undertaken this transition, and we are happy to lend our expertise.”
