Metrofuser Opens Printer Parts Distribution Center in California

ROSELLE, N.J. — Metrofuser, a laser printer parts provider, has begun to ship its remanufactured printer parts from a new distribution center in Orange County, Calif.

Metrofuser announced that the center is stocked with OEM and remanufactured parts and is intended to allow the company to meet the increasing West Coast demand for HP and Lexmark printer parts.

“With the new facility on the West Coast, our parts are now within one or two days ground shipping to 70 percent of the largest U.S. metropolitan areas,” said Will Demuth, vice president of logistics. “The new facility will serve as our distribution hub for all of our West Coast partners located in major markets such as Las Vegas, San Francisco and Phoenix.”

The addition of Metrofuser’s “West Coast distribution hub” marks the company’s second distribution center in the United States and is the next phase of its long-term strategic plan.
“Our new facility will provide opportunities for continued growth between West Coast and Asian markets,” said Todd Katz, vice president of sales. “Most importantly, our customers will enjoy increased response times, reduced transit costs, and convenient order pick-up service.”

A massive operational software upgrade coincides with the opening of the new distribution center. The upgrade introduces new automation efficiencies that will further enhance and streamline Metrofuser’s distribution capabilities to benefit all of its customers.
