PrintFleet, Compass Sales Solutions Announce Partnership

GANANOQUE, Ontario — PrintFleet Inc., a print management and assessment software company, and Compass Sales Solutions, a sales force automation software developer, have announced a technology integration partnership that provides dealerships in the imaging industry with an end-to-end strategy to create profitable cost-per-page programs, from initial assessment, to proposal generation, to implementation and ongoing remote monitoring.

The process begins with PrintFleet software collecting critical data metrics from printer, copier, and MFP devices on a client’s network. For the purpose of integration with Compass, these metrics include model description, page counts, serial number, IP address, location, and manufacturer. For ongoing management, the software also collects such items as toner and non-toner supplies levels, status and error messages, and more. To collect data, dealers have the option of using PrintFleet Suite PRO rapid assessment USB software, or PrintFleet Optimizer Plus/PrintFleet Enterprise remote monitoring software. Once obtained, the data is exported in a format that seamlessly imports into Compass Opportunity Manager software.

Compass Opportunity Manager gives sales teams the ability to accurately calculate a client’s total cost of ownership for their document output devices, develop cost-per-page scenarios, print professional proposals, and generate required paperwork with the click of a few buttons. By importing data from PrintFleet, Compass Opportunity Manager can instantly make the calculations needed to develop a cost-per-page proposal.
