Static Control Components Offers Chips for Top Inkjet Cartridges
SANFORD, N.C. — Static Control has announced the release of inkjet chips for more than 50 of HP’s most popular printers. Every inkjet chip from SCC offers consistent reliability, OEM-like function and footprint, and works in every designated printer no matter the geographical placement.
“Because of our advanced chip design and manufacturing capabilities, SCC has been able to develop a chip for inkjet applications that match the OEM footprint and provide full printer functionality,” said Candace Clemmer, product specialist at Static Control. “What this means to remanufacturers is that they can now replace just the chip after refilling and not the entire bottom portion of the cartridge.”
Other aftermarket chip suppliers cannot replicate the OEM chip and have designed a chip that does not fit the OEM chip slot, forcing remanufacturers to purchase the entire bottom portion of the cartridge and risking improper installation if not sized correctly.
“We have performed extensive due-diligence pertaining to our inkjet chips,” Clemmer said. “This is extremely important since the OEM has stated they will actively pursue any companies that are infringing their patents. All of our chips for inkjets are designed and produced using the same methods as our laser cartridge chips, providing you with the highest confidence level in the industry.”
Inkjet chips regulate toner low and toner out. After toner out is reached the chip will not allow the printer to function, preventing customers from printing with an empty cartridge, which can damage their printer. Since the placement of the chip on the cartridge is so critical, SCC also offers a unique chip installation tool to guarantee correct chip alignment.
