Static Control Offers Polymerized Toner Particle Designed for HP 2600 Family
SANFORD, N.C. — Static Control Components has announced the release of a polymerized toner particle for use specifically in the HP 2600 family of printers, including the HP 2600, 2605, 1600, CM1015 and CM1017.
According to Ed Swartz, CEO of Static Control, this is exactly what the remanufacturing industry has been waiting for.
“Our development team has been working on this for more than two years,” Swartz said. “The entire process has been scientifically developed, from the toner particle through to the completed imaging system, to assure our customers consistent, reliable results time after time. The introduction of this polymerized toner opens up a worldwide market to everyone ready to take advantage of it.”
SCC’s success in developing toner for the HP 2600 system began with extensive color research and development. The end result is a unique toner particle and electrically balanced system that provides OEM-like results when remanufactured correctly.
“This specially developed polymerized toner has been system-matched for use with our existing drum,” Swartz said. “Because of this, and to achieve OEM-like results, we do not recommend using this toner with an OEM drum.”
Swartz added that, although the proper components are critical, proper remanufacturing techniques are just as important.
“If a remanufacturer attempts to build color cartridges using monochrome techniques they will fail,” Swartz said. “Color technology is a complex process that requires the perfect balance between components and remanufacturing methodology.”
