Future Graphics Adds Free Video Demonstrations to Its Web Site

LOS ANGELES — Future Graphics announced the addition of free product demonstration videos on the company’s Web site.
One of the videos available features Project Engineer Ray Hunt demonstrating Future Graphics’ innovative system for remanufacturing the HP 2600 color cartridges. The system consists of a drum cutting tool for safe and easy removal of the drum without damaging the waste hopper.
The system also includes a fixture, drill guide and custom hole saw that avoids damage to the toner cartridge interior ribs or sweeper blade and provides proper alignment of the doctor blade every time.
“At Future Graphics we’ve always believed that support for remanufacturers, whether they’re current customers or not, should be unconditional,” said Todd Turner, marketing director, Future Graphics. “That’s why we don’t demand passwords or usernames for viewing or downloading our videos or technical support literature. When we say free, we mean free — no username, no password; no hassles for remanufacturers.”
In another video, Mechanical Engineer Ruben Betancourt demonstrates an innovative combination of fixture and tools for sealing the HP 4700 cartridge. Betancourt’s easy-to-follow presentation illustrates a consistent method of sealing the toner opening port and installing a properly aligned, high-quality seal without using heat.
Development Engineer Gary Silva demonstrates the time-saving drum pin removal tool for remanufacturing a wide variety of HP toner cartridges.
“These videos can be used by remanufacturers to train production personnel and set up manufacturing processes,” said Fred McIntosh, senior vice president of technology, Future Graphics. “With their step-by-step instructions, they are designed to help the remanufacturers be competitive in the market.”
