Future Graphics/MKI Partnership Key to Successful World Expo Course
LOS ANGELES — Future Graphics and MK Imaging gave World Expo attendees an example of the power of partnership when they presented a class entitled “Color Testing and Troubleshooting” at Recharger Magazine’s 2007 World Expo at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.
Presented by Craig Rummler, new product development manager of Future Graphics, and Will Niederstadt, market technical support engineer at Mitsubishi Kagaku Imaging, two of the industry’s most knowledgeable veterans, the authoritative course was one of the best received and attended at World Expo.
“Will and I have been working together closely since the partnership between Future Graphics and MKI began a little over a year ago,” Rummler said. “He has a great understanding of the color printing process and I value his opinions. This presentation demonstrated the sharing of information that occurs between our two companies.”
Everyone in the R&D industry faces the question of how best to perform quality color testing. There are multiple standard procedures, but no single test is completely practical. The World Expo course was developed to help customers and the remanufacturing industry design their own testing procedures for today’s common problems such as poor overall print quality, improper color matching and over-saturation of colors.
“It was a privilege to present with Craig on color cartridge testing and troubleshooting,” said Niederstadt. “I was pleased to have a great turnout to share information with remanufacturers as our industry makes a transition into the color market. I hope that people found our presentation informative and beneficial and look forward to future opportunities to partner with Craig and the Future Graphics team in bringing solutions to the remanufacturing industry.”
