123 Refills Announces New Franchise Program

LOS ANGELES — 123 Refills Inc., a leading remanufacturer and retailer of ink/toner cartridges, announced that it was implementing a new program to sell franchises in the United States. The franchise will provide aftermarket ink and toner cartridges, refill services and other imaging consumables at substantial savings to the consumer in an eco-friendly way. The program will operate under the name 123 Refills, a worldwide brand in the ink/toner industry.

“We’ve been developing our set of specialized services for our franchise operation over the past several years,” said Dr. Dimitris Constantinou, founder and CEO of 123 Refills Inc. “We’ve successfully launched a franchise operation in Europe, and we’re now we’re ready for our expansion into North America.”

The franchise program, developed with the help of the Chicago-based iFranchise Group and the DLA-Piper legal firm, will initially be rolled out in California with national expansion to follow. “The 123 Refills concept could easily expand nationally right away,” said Mark Siebert, CEO of the iFranchise Group. “But the main goal of 123 Refills is to ensure the success of the franchisee — and so they are taking a more conservative approach to expansion initially.” Siebert believes this is a solid franchise program, one of the many he’s seen in over 20 years of franchise consulting. “Not only does this program capitalize on the superior health of the ink and toner industry, but it has the support of an established organization behind it,” he said.
