Cartridge World Announces South American Expansion
EMERYVILLE, Calif. —Cartridge World has announced that it has awarded the master franchise rights to Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay to Diego Albanell.
With years of successful experience in commercial and financial operational strategies and logistics, Albanell joins the Cartridge World team with a wealth of knowledge and experience to service and support future franchisees.

By the end of 2008 the company plans for two Cartridge World locations in Uruguay, three in Argentina and one in Paraguay. By the end of 2012, five stores are planned for Uruguay, more than 25 in Argentina and three locations in Paraguay.
Cartridge World, which opened its first franchise location in Adelaide, Australia in 1997, is the first retail cartridge refilling concept to take on manufacturing giants such as HP, Lexmark and Canon while offering cost-saving solutions for consumers and businesses on the traditionally inflated costs of printer and toner cartridges.

Cartridge World has expanded into the countries of India, China, the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia and the Caribbean. The company is also seeking Master Franchisees throughout South America and various countries in Asia and Europe.
