PTi Releases MICR Toner Cartridges for HP P3005 Series
CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Printing Technology Inc. added a magnetic ink character recognition (MICR) toner cartridge for Hewlett-Packard P3005 series printers.
“We typically release just one version (yield) of a cartridge for each printer family in our MICR line but in the case of the HP P3005 we had multiple requests for low and high yields so we decided to release both,” said Julian DeSalay, PTi’s vice president of domestic sales. “PTi is in a fortunate position with an extensive in-house R&D department that allows additional resources to work on products that normally wouldn’t be considered.”
Our 6,500-page-yield cartridge is based on the Q7551A and our 12,000-page-yield cartridge is based on the Q7551X cartridge.”
