PTi Releases Replacement MICR Cartridges for Source Technologies, Standard Register Laser Printers

CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Printing Technology Inc. added replacement magnetic ink character recognition (MICR) toner cartridges for Source Technologies printers ST1120, ST1130, ST9116, ST9120, ST9130, ST9216, ST9222, ST9325, ST9410, ST9420, ST9530 and standard register printers PL4820, PL4830, PL4935, PL5835.
“PTi has an extensive line of specialty cartridges and the addition of these items will keep PTi a front-runner for dealers who seek a complete source for their specialty cartridge requirements,” said Tim Purugganan, vice president of marketing. “We have found that many customers have been frustrated in the past trying to find a steady quality supplier for these higher profit cartridges and have given into only selling OEM. We are now happy to be in the position to offer low-cost, high- margin replacement cartridges for both Source Technologies and Standard Register printers.”
“PTi MICR cartridges are extensively tested to meet all North American standards required by check printers,” said Evandro Goncalves, PTi's head of R&D. “Each cartridge is 100 percent post tested and must pass our print quality test as well as meet the minimum MICR toner reading. This ensures checks printed with PTi cartridges will be properly processed by bank clearing houses.”
