UniNet Announces Samsung Smartchips
LOS ANGELES — UniNet announces Unichip Smartchips tested and approved for the Samsung SCX-4720 multifunction printer. The new chips have been custom programmed and manufactured in the U.S. by the Summit Technologies chip manufacturing division of UniNet Imaging Inc.
The Samsung SCX-4720FN prints 20 ppm at 1200 dpi and uses standard and high yield Black toner cartridges rated 3,000 to 5,000 pages 5 percent coverage on letter-size paper.
UniNet also tested and approved Unichip Smartchips for the Samsung ML 3560/3561 monochrome printer. These chips also have been custom programmed and manufactured in the U.S. by Summit Technologies, chip manufacturing division.
The Samsung ML-3561N prints 35 ppm at 1,200 dpi on letter size paper. The printer uses black standard and high yield cartridges rated at 6,000 to 12,000 pages at 5 percent coverage on letter-size paper.
