Mearthane Products Offers Free Developer Rollers for Testing
CRANSTON, R.I. — Remanufacturers and printer OEMs can test developer rollers for free from MPC (Mearthane Products Corporation), the pioneer and a leading innovator in conductive polyurethanes. The initiative will enable companies to inexpensively prove out the semiconductive rollers’ durability, high quality, and consistently reliable tribocharge management. MPC is also offering 10 percent off on the first production order of rollers after testing.
“Manufacturers of business and consumer printers and replacement developer rollers can use our test rollers to help find the performance breakthroughs that differentiate their products in the market,” says Raymond Perry, MPC quality engineering manager.
“We specially formulate these rollers for superior performance and long life,” says Dr. Albert Chiang, vice president of research and development at MPC. “They provide precision toner distribution for excellent print quality, and they outlast other rollers to reduce downtime costs.”
MPC’s developer rollers also feature improved abrasion and wear characteristics, chemical resistance, resiliency, and sound dampening properties that make them ideal for use in non-prebate cartridges.
The rollers are compliant with most popular printer models, including HP3500, HP 4600, HP5500, and Lexmark S and T. MPC was founded in 1965 as Mearthane Products Corporation. The company specializes in creating customized castable thermoset polyurethane products with variable mechanical and environmental properties to suit a wide range of applications.
MPC’s customers include companies in military, medical, business machine, and various industrial and recreational markets.
