Recharger Magazine Names Patricia Ames New Publisher

Patricia AmesLAS VEGAS — 1105 Media, Inc., has named Patricia Ames publisher of Recharger Magazine. Ames is a veteran member of the Recharger team, most recently serving as Director, Global Events. In her tenure with Recharger, Ames has helped launch several of the industry’s most successful events, including ReChina Asia Expo and ReIndia Expo.

Immediately prior to joining Recharger Ames was managing director at Equasphere Technology Consulting, a consulting firm in Malaysia for the telecommunications, semiconductor manufacturing and automotive industries, where she specialized in startup development, marketing strategies and capital acquisition. Prior, she was a senior consultant for San Francisco Consulting Group in the Netherlands, where her primary duties were site selection analyses for European call centers. Her primary clients included computer, electronic and automotive manufacturers as well as economic development agencies and government organizations. Ames also spent five years as an acting special envoy for foreign investment for LEG Thueringen, a semi-governmental trade and promotion board, in Germany. There she designed and implemented promotional strategies for the federal German and state governments and sales offices in Tokyo, Los Angeles and Paris.

Ames has bachelor’s degrees in economics and business finance and obtained her MBA in marketing and international business. She is fluent in German.
