NA Trading and Technology Introduces Grounding Plate
MINNEAPOLIS — NA Trading and Technology, a distributor of OEM-compatible, high-performance parts and supplies, has recently released a grounding plate for use in all digital monochrome 35- and 45-ppm Ricoh machines. Symptoms of a grounding issue may include a floating ground, dirty-running machine, fuser cleaning roller building up toner quickly, and premature drum wear due to residual charge left on the drum. These symptoms may result in a reduced image quality and a decrease in the efficiency of consumable parts.
NA Trading and Technology has worked with Ricoh family dealers on this idea, to reduce grounding issues caused by the drum bearing (OEM part number 08053441). NA Trading and Technology’s exclusive grounding plate is designed to mount on the PC board’s ground screw and provides a contact directly to the drum shaft. The grounding plate has been assigned NATT number 02037006 and can be viewed and ordered through eNATT, the company's catalog.
