PTi Releases Cartridges for HP Wide-Format Printers
CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Printing Technology Inc. has released its new line of compatible replacement cartridges for use in wide-format HP printers. The release includes replacement cartridges for HP’s Design Jet 5000/5500 printers, available in both dye ink (number 81) series and UV ink (number 83) series. PTi also released replacement cartridges (number 80) for the HP 1050C/1055CM series wide-format printers.
“Wide format printers demand high quality, a reason they opted for the HP wide-format system in the first place, but in these economic times replacement ink costing in excess of $1,200 for a complete set is a very expensive necessity until now,” said Tim Purugganan, vice president of marketing. “Our Tennessee R&D team has worked tediously to formulate what we believe is a color and print quality system second to none. With the value and performance found in our wide-format inkjet cartridges, we are confident wide-format printers won’t miss their costly OEM cartridges and dealers will appreciate the high margins that can be made with wide-format inkjet cartridge sales.”
