OCP GmbH Releases Inks for Canon Cartridge Series
HATTINGEN, Germany — With the PGI-520 and CLI-521 cartridges, Canon has released a new generation of inkjet cartridges, which are the direct successor of the PGI-5 and CLI-8 cartridges.
OCP GmbH, after extensive tests by its research and development department, has released a new line of inks for these cartidges whose properties are equal to the OEM.
the PGI-520 and CLI-521 cartridges compose a five color single ink tank printing system with pigmented black for text printing and black, cyan, yellow, and magenta for photo printing.
Theses new cartridges are suitable for the printer series Pixma iP3600, iP4600, MP540, MP620, MP630, MP980 and MX860, which are all equipped with the FINE printhead technology.
The number of nozzles in the iP4600 printhead has been decreased compared to the iP4500. The printhead of the cheaper iP3600 has been improved by the photo black cartridge and the one picoliter drop size, which results in a better photo printing quality.
OCP is always solely orientated towards the OEM inks and its performance. The customer can not only expect that a cartridge filled with OCP inks will result in an optically comparable printout, but also the light fastness which is often expressed as an important argument by the OEM.
