PrintFleet and Lomond Collaborate to Optimize Memjet-Based EvoJet
ONTARIO, Canada – PrintFleet Inc., a global leader in managed print software, and Lomond, a provider of office consumables and the revolutionary EvoJet Office printer, announced the expansion of PrintFleet’s leading MPS software to include management of EvoJet Office printers, streamlining the way for MPS providers to place Lomond’s fast and economical EvoJet Office color desktop printer into European MPS channels and accounts.
PrintFleet has tested and certified the Lomond EvoJet Office printer as “PrintFleet-ready” for MPS deployments, making it optimal for managed business environments where IT network professionals and dealers remotely monitor and manage productivity, performance and costs of their printing and imaging environments.
Lomond’s Evojet Office device introduces an entirely new choice of printing technology for European dealers. Customers of Lomond Evojet Office will now have the option to print in color, reduce overall print costs, and monitor overall productivity with the PrintFleet software. “Adding Lomond’s EvoJet to our line-up of certified MPS devices software, and working with Lomond to develop an MPS program designed specifically for the European market place is a very exciting project” stated PrintFleet’s President Chris McFarlane.
“The combination of Lomond’s customer care focus and strong supply chain capabilities and PrintFleet’s industry leadership and years of expertise in Managed Print Services, will allow Lomond to deliver an outstanding MPS program to our Distributor partners” said Ivan Bulaev, of Lomond Trading Company.
Lomond, which launched its first-generation EvoJet Office in 2011, is a leading digital paper converter and cartridge manufacturer, supplying more than 1,000 types of printing media and consumables under its own brand name. With a significant share of the desktop inkjet media market in Eastern Europe, CIS and Russia, Lomond is focused on producing high-quality OEM-compatible media, including cartridges and toners, inkjet and laser printing papers, and software applications compatible with most digital imaging devices for office, home and commercial use.
“Lomond is pleased to partner with PrintFleet on an MPS solution for the European market,” said Lomond CEO Alexander Bulaev. “At last, companies that have been stuck in the monochrome printing model can have color at the highest speed in the world and a cost that supports their bottom line.”
