SYDNEY, Australia – Fuji Xerox Printers added four new A4 monochrome laser printers to its range – the DocuPrint P355 d, DocuPrint M355 df, DocuPrint P255 dw and DocuPrint M255 z. Leading the way with superior print quality, cost-effective print management and a host of eco-friendly features, these office workhorses help home office users and small to medium businesses boost productivity and minimize operating costs.

DocuPrint P355 d and M355 df
The single function DocuPrint P355 d and multifunction DocuPrint M355 df monochrome laser printers deliver brilliant performance for any small or medium sized business, combining speed, efficiency and excellent networking capabilities in a compact unit.
Businesses can enjoy print speeds of up to 35 pages per minute and first page out times of six seconds from ready mode. Equipped with a 250-sheet standard paper capacity each printer can handle a variety of mediums including thick paper, card stock, envelopes and labels. Enhanced 1,200-by-1,200 resolution printing and genuine Adobe Postscript 3 combined with a powerful 533 MHz processor, 256 MB memory and Gigabit Ethernet to ensure crisp, sharp documents in a flash.
The DocuPrint M355 df multifunction printer allows businesses to print, copy, scan and fax from one cost-effective device. Additional features include Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and the ability to print from and scan to a USB storage device.
Both the DocuPrint P355 d and M355 df feature data encryption technology to protect valuable information sent via networks against security risks. The DocuPrint M355 df model adds Secure Print and Secure Fax functions, which are ideal for temporarily holding confidential documents in a queue until the appropriate job owner enters a pin number at the control panel. Wireless connectivity is optional.

The single function DocuPrint P255 dw and multifunction DocuPrint M255 z offer an ideal mix of exceptional print quality and low cost of ownership.
These 30 page per minute devices are economical and fit neatly on a desktop. With laptops, smartphones and tablets now an everyday part of business and personal life, the DocuPrint P255 dw and M255 z come standard with built-in 10/100 base TX networking and wireless functionality. For maximum flexibility, these printers can also scan to and print from a USB storage device.
The DocuPrint M255 z adds copy, scan and fax to its print capabilities. Like the DocuPrint M355 df, it offers Optical Character Recognition (OCR) for transforming paper documents into more user-friendly electronic files as well as the ability to scan and save electronic files directly to a USB storage device.
Economically and environmentally sustainable
Fuji Xerox’s new range of monochrome printers utilize the latest energy-saving technologies to minimize operating costs and environmental impact, including built in automatic duplex printing as standard to enable businesses to cut their paper use in half.
All models also boast EA-Eco Toner by Fuji Xerox which enables them to operate using less heat, and therefore less power. Engineered to melt at a temperature 20 degrees lower than conventional toner, EA-Eco Toner reduces power consumption by up to 40 percent.
The DocuPrint P255 dw and M255 z utilise an economical twin pack toner to help keep cost per print to a minimum. In addition, the toner save mode offered by both models gives businesses the option to use less toner per page.
The mechanics of the DocuPrint P255 dw and M255 z have also been taken into consideration when looking for ways to make these models less costly on the bottom line and the environment. By incorporating a fixed drum design, only toner requires replacement.
