The HP Enterprise 700 M712 printers are based on a 1,200-dpi, 40-ppm wide-format Canon engine. This series replaces the LaserJet M5025 series. As with all the new HP cartridges, these cartridges use a chip to monitor toner-low functions. The cartridges available for the M712 are the CF214A and X.
