Work Training Center Seeks Fuser Wands Donations
Chico, Calif. The Work Training Center for the Handicapped, a sheltered workshop, has an urgent need for donated fuser wands of all types.
The not-for-profit organization has been recycling used toner wands for the past five years. The commitment to recycling by the remanufacturing industry has made it possible for WTC and similar workshops to continue providing employment and job training opportunities for people with developmental disabilities while performing a much-needed service. WTC recycles exchanged or donated wands putting them back into productive use. Over a one-year period, nearly fifteen tons of polyester resin wands have been saved from landfills by the WTC shop alone.
The men and women who recycle these wands are proud of their accomplishments and produce a high-quality product. There is a potential IRS 501(c)(3) tax deduction.
