MICR Experts Offers Extra Long Life on HP MICR Toner Cartridge
Chaotte, N.C.Source Technologies announces an originally manufactured MICR (Magnetic Ink Character
Recognition) toner cartridge for the Hewlett Packard LaserJet EX series (4, 4 Plus, and 5) and the Troy 508, 512, and 512 Plus
MICR laser printers.
At 10,000 prints (5% coverage), this cartridge offers two times the yield of a standard EX series MICR cartridge.
This provides extra value to the consumer with a lower cost per page, fewer cartridge changes and reduced inventory requirements.
This cartridge is also beneficial to the environment through reduced waste.
These cartridges are the only originally manufactured MICR toner cartridges for the HP EX series printers.
"Unlike cartridges that advertise 'All New Parts,' we didn't add MICR toner after production was done, we precisely designed
MICR toner for the EX series and manufactured it into the cartridge," says Miles Busby, president of Source Technologies.
"This product offers our customers real value with consistent quality and the lowest cost per page in its class."
"We've fed over 2 million MICR test documents through check reader/sorters and conducted extensive tests on all
of our MICR toner cartridges and many competing products," says Wally Burlingham, MICR product manager at
Source Technologies. "I found no cartridge equal in quality to our HP EX series MICR toner cartridge. I am proud to put my
stamp of approval on this high quality product."
The Source Technologies HP EX series MICR toner cartridge meets all ABA standards and is manufactured under
the international Standard ISO 9002 approved quality process.
This cartridge adds to the existing Source Technologies family of MICR toner cartridges for Lexmark,
Hewlett-Packard and ExpressPrint laser printers. Originally manufactured MICR toner for the HP LaserJet NX Series (3Si, 4Si) will
be available during the second quarter of 1998.
