Kyocera Mita Sets New Standard for Networked Productivity
Fairfield, N.J. Kyocera Mita America, Inc., in a combined effort with Electronics For Imaging, the world leader in enabling networked printing solutions, announces the availability of the new Fiery Z4 print controller for the Kyocera Mita Ci7600 full-color copier/printer.
The Z4 will set a new standard for productivity and quality, with performance speeds of up to four times faster than previous controllers will.
According to Georgann Gelsi-Piccirillo, color product marketing manager, "The new Fiery Z4 will drive the Ci7600 at full-rated speed for greater overall throughput. With a new architecture designed to handle complex color files and maximize printing performance,
the Fiery Z4 is a perfect fit for the production-intensive high-end graphics environment. The Fiery Z4 also offers the quality and flexibility of ColorWise 2.0 EFI's newest and most powerful color management system. In addition, NetWise 2.0, a new
networking architecture, helps to accelerate setup
and offers seamless connectivity to the Ci7600."
KMA's FILM (Focus Intensity Laser Modulation System) technology gives the Ci7600 full-spectrum color, razor-sharp detail and enhanced text reproduction. The Ci7600 offers a range of features such as 11" x 17" full-bleed printing on 12" x 18" paper, automatic duplexing,
automatic sorting, collating and stapling for enhanced productivity.
Users of the new Fiery Z4 obtain automatic PANTONE matching and gain the ability to process multiple file types on the same page for greater color quality. ColorWise 2.0, a truly open color management system offers easier more intuitive calibration with the Fiery Print Calibrator.
Fiery Driver is a new interface designed by EFI to simplify the printing process. This interface offers shortcuts to common settings, provides visual document feedback, and enhances control for Windows users. Fiery Driver's intuitive interface makes accessing the copier/printer's
specific functions easy by providing quick access to frequently used features.
