Static Control Releases Toner Adder Roller and ProSeal for the HP 8500
SANFORD, N.C. — Static Control recently released a
toner adder roller for the HP 8500. This adder roller has been designed to
enhance the life of HP 8500 cartridges by providing remanufacturers with a
replacement for old or damaged toner adder rollers. The company has also
released the ProSeal and Seal Insertion Tool, which enable remanufacturers to
seal cartridges without splitting them first.
The toner adder roller assists in charging and delivering
toner to the developer roller. These rollers can wear out over time or be
damaged during handling so it is important to have a replacement.
“Many of our customers have found that older cores
tend to have deteriorated toner adder rollers, so it was important for us to
design something that would allow them to utilize their complete supply of HP
8500 empties,” said Fred McIntosh, Static Control product development
manager. “Static Control’s new replacement toner adder roller is
made from foam and designed to facilitate the delivery of toner to the
developer roller.”
Static Control engineers developed the HP 8500 ProSeal and
Seal Insertion Tool to provide remanufacturers with alternatives to splitting
HP 8500 cartridges. The pressure-sensitive adhesive ProSeal is easy to attach
when used in conjunction with the HP 8500 Seal Insertion Tool. The ProSeal
adhesive insertable seal is an easy, cost-effective method of sealing
cartridges and offering OEM appearance.
