Print-Rite Collects 2009 Hong Kong Awards for Industries for Productivity and Quality
ZHUHAI, China — Print-Rite, the manufacturing partner for Union Technology International (MCO) Co. Ltd. (UtUTec), has received the 2009 Hong Kong Awards for Industries: Productivity and Quality. The awards recognize outstanding achievements of Hong Kong enterprises for higher technology and value-added activities.
“Print-Rite’s management believes that innovation is the key to the enhancement of productivity. The organization’s capabilities for developing innovative technique and products have been widely recognized in the industry,” the judging panel commented.
Print-Rite has registered more than 1,200 patents worldwide and was the world’s first in the printer consumables industry to receive IECQ HSPM QC 080000 certificate. The certification shows Print-Rite’s commitment to environmental protection and achievement in managing and controlling the processes pursuant to hazardous substance free (HSF) products and production processes.
The 2009 Hong Kong Awards for Industries: Productivity and Quality is the latest accolade in a series of prestigious awards and recognitions that Print-Rite has received recently including:
The Hong Kong Enterprise Environmental Achievement Award 2008 from the Hong Kong Environmental Protection Association in recognition of its green policy to remanufactured products.
A commendation “Hong Kong - Guangdong Cleaner Production Partner (Manufacturing)” from the Hong Kong and Guangdong governments in recognition of Print-Rite’s active and continuous participation in cleaner production.
The Capital Outstanding Green Excellence Award (2009) from Capital Magazine in recognition of Print-Rite’s contribution in green and sustainability issues.
The Hang Seng Pearl River Delta Environmental Awards (2009) from the Federation of Hong Kong Industries and the Hang Seng Bank for Print-Rite’s outstanding performance in environmental contributions.
