Imaging Supplies Coalition Elects Lexmark's Gardner Board Chairman
The Imaging Supplies Coalition for International Intellectual Property Protection (ISC) announced the election of a new Chairman of the Board and three new officers at their annual meeting held June 22, 2010. Andrew Gardner, WW Brand Protection Manager, Lexmark International Inc. was named Chairman of the Board. He succeeds John McIntyre, Sustainability Manager, Samsung Electronics America.
Commenting on the election, Allen Westerfield, President of the Coalition said, “The Members and Board of Directors want to thank John and Samsung for their proactive involvement and support of the ISC. Our new Chairman, Andrew Gardner, brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience to the Chair and with his leadership we look forward to continuing our efforts to prevent counterfeiting and fraud in the imaging supplies industry.”
Jeffrey Kwasny, Anticounterfeiting Programs Manager, HP, was elected Chair-Elect, Sharon Kreps Channel Marketing Manager, Epson America was elected Treasurer, and Kathy Tarsiewicz, Senior Manager, Consumables for Oki Data Americas was elected Secretary.
Westerfield went on to say, “Each of these officers has a depth of experience in the imaging supplies industry and are leaders in their companies’ efforts to protect their brand and their customers from illegal activity.”
