PANTUM Launches in Israel
On Feb. 5, 2012, the PANTUM printer was officially launched in Israel, and more than 100 Israeli resellers, media and industry specialists witnessed the launch event.
PANTUM printers were first introduced to the Chinese market on December 6, 2010. Only 10 months later, PANTUM brought out its MFPs and unveiled its worldwide expansion plans. With its strengths in product innovation and R&D, PANTUM has fully mastered the core technologies of laser printer R&D as well as manufacturing and has become an international laser printer brand that covers a dozen models of mono laser printers and MFPs.
Recently, mono laser printer and MFPs are jointly taking up 74.8 percent share of market attention. As a new comer of the international printer market, PANTUM is able to meet the needs of most of the users including small and medium size enterprise, industry high end users, trendy users and home users.
Israel is the most industrialized and developed country in the Middle East, and it also has a world-leading economic system and population quality that have made great scientific and technological contributions to the world. In recent years, the Israeli IT industry has been undertaking great changes. And the laser printer market has also achieved huge growth. By looking at the Israeli laser printer market, HP is no longer the monopolizer. Samsung, Xerox and Brother are taking more and more market share. As the competition gets intensified, more and more Israeli users benefit from high quality products and services. Along with the entry of an increasing number of China brands like Lenovo, Haier and Edifier, end users have gradually been accepting the “Created in China” brands and their quality.
PANTUM’s manufacturer, Seine Technology Co., Ltd, is one of the leaders in the aftermarket consumables industry. Seine Technology is dedicated in the R&D of toner cartridges parts and relevant patent technologies. It has built up an industry leading self-developed patent platform and an advanced product R&D system. With self-owned intellectual property rights, Seine’s high quality products and services span 80 countries and 130 million end users in the world and have gained STMC, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, CE and many other authoritative certificates. The success in the consumables industry paves the way for Seine’s printer manufacturing.
A printer is a high-tech product with hundreds of thousands of patents attached to it, which is related to laser imaging, integrated circuit, fine chemical and precision machinery. Seine has a strong technological base, complete industry chain and ability in product R&D and manufacturing. Since 2006, Seine has been investing heavily on building both Chinese and oversea R&D facilities, organizing international expert and engineer teams, and establishing a huge “Patent map” to absorb new technologies for printer R&D. In December 2010, PANTUM printer with proprietary technologies was launched in China. Legend Capital, the owner of Lenovo, which is the world’s famous IT enterprise, also invested in Seine and became Seine’s strategic partner. After the international launch event in October 2011, PANTUM made a big step forward to the international market and aroused attention from other famous OEM players.
Israel is the starting point for PANTUM Printer's Middle East Operation, it is a big challenge but also the best starting point.
Just like other industries, the participation of “Created in China” products always stands for the advantages of low cost in production, labor and parts, which optimizes the industries and provides the customers with more cost effective products. Formerly, the printer technologies were controlled by the Japanese enterprises, but since Samsung broke the technology barriers in recent years, Japanese enterprises have been losing their advantages in the low-end printer market, which is shifting from Japan to other countries. The birth of PANTUM is the beginning of this industry shift that will speed up the popularization of cost effective, environmental protective and convenient printing products and services.
With its strength in self-innovation and product R&D, PANTUM is now an international laser printer brand that fully masters laser printer and relevant technologies. P1000, P2000 are the first two models that PANTUM launched to the Israeli market.
After in-depth research, PANTUM recognized two pitfalls in the current printer market. The first pitfall is that most of the current OEM printers are designed to be a short-life “throw away” printer so that printer users are forced to buy a new one quickly. The second pitfall is that printer users are attracted to buy an initially low cost printer but are hit hard later with high cost per page. PANTUM printers are designed to bring very eco-friendly but built to last and are one of the most economical series of devices in their category to the users. First, PANTUM printers are built to last. With a heavy duty metal frame and metal and hard rubber roller assemblies they significantly reduce paper jams and can last up to a maximum monthly duty cycle of 20,000 pages, which means their duty cycle is four times of that of most other OEM printers in their category as well as the engine life is also more than twice of that of the competing products. They can work all day, every day without costly human intervention for many years. Second, PANTUM offer much higher capacity replacement cartridge in order to offer a lower cost per page. Most OEM printers offer 1,500-page replacement cartridge, PANTUM also offers 2,300 pages replacement cartridges. To printer users, PANTUM not only decreases the cost per pages by more than 20 percent but also saves the trouble of changing the cartridges in the middle of a printing job. Furthermore, PANTUM’s exclusive transfer printing technology brings high transfer rate and low waste toner, the advanced imaging technique also effectively lowers ozone emission.
Before entering the international market, PANTUM had already gained great success in Chinese market. In 2011, PANTUM became the finalist of China central government procurement and signed more than 20 provincial government supplier agreements. Especially in the second semester of 2011, PANTUM continuously won the bids of several large government procurement projects. Based on its strengths, PANTUM has gained RoHs, CE, ISO9001, ISO14001 and many other certificates, and has also been considered a mainstream product in the European and North American markets, which are really quality oriented. “(The) PANTUM printer is excellent in performance and environmental protection. I’m confident that PANTUM will gain great success in the near future,” an American reseller said. Now, the first Australia order has been shipped out and more contracts with resellers in Europe, U.S., South America, Southeast Asia and Africa will be signed shortly.
With core technology and great ambition, PANTUM is dedicated to bring more value and choices to Israeli end users.
“I hope end users from China and worldwide can pay more attention to PANTUM and also PANTUM will dedicate itself to popularize printing products and services in China and in the world,” said Jackson Wang, CEO of Seine, who brought up the world leading consumable manufacturing enterprise in the aftermarket. “We want to pass a message to our channel business partners and end users in the world that after 30 years, a Chinese printer brand, PANTUM, has come up with a new choice for users and business partners.” With this great ambition, Jackson Wang brings PANTUM printer with high monthly duty cycle, long warranty, low total cost of operation and energy consumption into Israeli and global market.
With global quality, lower overall operation cost, better service, more friendly design and printing experience, PANTUM will prove itself as an international brand that will bring more value and opportunities to the printing users and business partners.
