Fuji Xerox Releases the Phaser 7800

Fuji Xerox Printers has established a new gold standard in color with the release of its new flagship printer, the Phaser 7800. The A3 device is packed with industry-leading color quality tools, extensive media handling capabilities and premium finishing options which meet the demands of creative professionals and enable business users to produce commercial quality materials in-house.

Printing at 1,200-by-2,400-dpi resolution the Phaser 7800 brings out the finest details in images, photos and graphics. Core to the printer are its color-matching capabilities.
PANTONE color calibrations are included as standard to ensure that print outs match color swatches. As an optional extra, the Phaser 7800 also offers Fuji Xerox’s industry leading PhaserMatch 5.0 technology, to deliver superior color matching between printed documents and output devices such as computer screens or digital presses.
To further ensure high precision prints Fuji Xerox’s exclusive SLED print head creates sharp detail and smooth color transition without streaking, and Adobe PostScript 3 provides the accuracy demanded in professional design environments.
The Phaser 7800 has been engineered for fast paced, deadline-driven environments, delivering superior results without sacrificing speed or reliability. The device delivers up to 45 pages per minute in colour and monochrome and boasts a 1.33GHz processor to handle high volume print loads. Featuring a duty cycle of up to 225,000 pages per month, it has been designed to withstand constant use while delivering consistent performance.
The Phaser 7800’s paper trays can be configured with various paper sizes and weights to suit different business requirements and save time that would be spent reloading paper every time custom stock is required. Large paper capacity of up to 3,140 sheets (with additional paper trays) ensures continuous printing without interruption.
To further boost productivity the Phaser 7800 offers a new ‘Print Around’ feature which delays jobs that require unavailable resources and pushes jobs that can be completed to the front of the queue. Meanwhile ‘Job Tracker’ monitors individual jobs and immediately alerts the job owner of any issues, providing helpful instructions to resolve the problem quickly.
