MWAi Joins New Generation M2M Consortium in Japan
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – MWA Intelligence, Inc. (MWAi), a leader in enterprise-class machine-to-machine (M2M) and machine-to-people (M2P) solutions and services, has joined the New Generation M2M Consortium in Japan. The New Generation M2M Consortium is a group of over 80 international companies including telecommunication carriers, manufacturers, software developers, hardware developers, IT service and consulting providers that focus on intelligent interconnection of devices, machines and people.
The only U.S. company to join this consortium, MWAi will participate with other New Generation M2M Consortium members engaged in the development of technologies that will realize a more convenient, secure and interconnected network community, with telecommunication and information technology. Machine-to-machine (M2M) integration allows various devices in diverse environments and industries to integrate and collaborate with intelligent interconnectivity.
The goal of the New Generation M2M consortium is to facilitate telecommunication, hardware and software developers in the resolution of various technical challenges with integrated interfaces, to perform mutual communication testing and to jointly apply for national projects and large contracts which can facilitate the creation new M2M services.
