Environmental Office Solutions Achieves Quality, R2 Certifications
HARTFORD, Conn. – Environmental Office Solutions (EOS) has implemented a quality management system compliant with ISO 9001 and achieved certification to R2:2008 (Responsible Recycling Practices – the industry's highest standard for environmental responsibility), ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 standards after a rigorous audit by Orion Registrar, an independent third party.
Over the course of several months, Environmental Office Solutions put in place a transparent verification system to manage its processes for recycling of used print cartridges, cell phones and small electronic devices in the most ecologically responsible manner.
"We successfully demonstrated that we have put in place the processes and procedures to handle material properly and provide a safe workplace environment. This certification is the result of several months of intensive work in preparation for two in-depth audits.
