HP Resolves Lawsuit With Brazilian Inkjet Distributor

According to AP News and Bloomberg Businessweek, HP announced that it’s ink cartridge patent infringement lawsuit with Rio Branco Ltda., distributor of Maxprint ink cartridges, has been resolved.

The suit was filed with the Brazilian company back in April 2011 and alleged that “HP-compatible inkjet print cartridges were being imported and sold in Brazil that infringed on HP patents,” the article reported.
