Apex Microelectronics Releases Replacement Chips for HP

ZHUHAI, China — Apex Microelectronics has released replacement chips for use with the HP printers P1005/P1006 and P1505/1505n. Apex chips are first-to-market among the industry.
Released in November 2007, this series of HP printers features compact (the smallest HP LaserJet printers), stylish and fast print speed. The HP LaserJet P1006 printer offers high-end output in an affordable, personal design, which prints at the speed of 17 ppm supported by a toner cartridge (CB 435A) with standard yields of 1,500 pages. The networkable HP LaserJet P1505 (cartridge CB436A yields 2,000 pages) is for small and medium office use with highlights including HP’s new spherical toner and an intelligent cartridge design that enables high- quality printouts.
