SAN CARLOS, Calif. — Faroudja Toner has released color toner in bags for the HP 8500. Ten kilogram (22 pound) bags are sold for black, cyan, yellow and magenta, and can be purchased individually or in multiple quantities.“The printer has been around for a while, but it was well made and we sell the bottles consistently,” said President Phil Faroudja. “We’re now pleased to offer the toner in bags, which offer savings of 40 percent.”
The HP 8500 is easy to recycle and no smartchips are required, though there is a chip on the drum unit. Faroudja also offers an HP 8500 drum, drum smartchip, wiper blade and doctor blade.
