Static Control Components Introduces CLI-8 Inkjet Chip

SANFORD, N.C. — Static Control released CLI-8, PGI-5, BCI-7e and BCI-9 chips for Canon printers at the recent Remax show. Static Control is in full production of these chips that have been tested and qualified to support nearly 60 Canon printers. With Static Control's CLI-8 chip providing remanufacturers with a solution to such a large number of printers, it is an ideal time to expand into the growing inkjet market.
The launch of the CLI-8 chip eliminates the need to buy through third-party distributors. Static Control designs, manufactures and tests every chip, assuring unrivalled technical support. Customers are also protected against future firmware changes, which can adversely affect remanufacturers who choose to reset OEM chips.
All Static Control products, including chips, manufactured and distributed at Static Control's production facilities completely meet or exceed the RoHS standards including lead-free requirements as stated in the directive. Customers may contact their Static Control sales representative for the availability of these chips.
Customers may also visit Static Control’s Chip Center on its Web site for further information on chips. Static Control customers then enter their password for instant access. Customers who do not have a password should contact a member of their support team and one will be assigned.
