Static Control’s Chip Checker Provides Information for HP Cartridges

SANFORD, N.C. — Static Control will soon be releasing a chip checker for all Static Control aftermarket inkjet chips for HP cartridges, allowing remanufacturers to confidently test and identify chips. Customers can contact their sales representatives for release date information.The chip checker features a LCD display which clearly and accurately provides chip type (02, 10, etc.), cartridge color the chip has been designed for, and whether or not the chip is good.
Static Control’s chip checker also eliminates the need for post-test verification. This feature is helpful because when inkjet chips are post tested, an install date is automatically programmed on the chip. Using the chip checker prevents this install date from being written to the chip and maintains the chip’s “new” status.
The chip checker comes ready to read all Static Control bag-style chips. A separate adapter is provided to read tank-style HP inkjet chips. All U.S. and foreign patents have been applied for.
